Proof that you can have all the talent in the world, and still make sh1tty music. It's like a bunch of kids clammering to get in front of the camera to show off. I absolutley hate this band.

I think they're decent but over hyped. The one thing holding them back, as you noted, is that its like they're all trying to show off a bit much. Some of the music isn't bad, but its not as great as their fans would have you believe.

I always thought of Nile as the tech death band playing simply for the sake of being technical. I think Necrophagist is just brilliant. Totally blew away the other bands at Summer Slaughter; every single band (With a few exceptions) there was made up of 5 or 6 guys all playing what sounded like the same thing the last band played, jumping up and down like THEY were the greatest band. Necrophagist just stood there and played, and that's all they needed to do.
I like their new drummer.
