If you like your classics I'd recommend Humble Pie. I've been listening to them a lot recently, love Marriott's voice!

I heard a track recently by a new band called Black Light White Light titled "Running." It's got a nice driving guitar riff.

I love Blues Rock, but it's hard to find. Have you checked out the record label "Alive! The Natural Sound"? They've produced a lot of Modern Blues artists (Although they mostly back Psychadelic bands).
