Janszoon introduced me to these guys is one of the threads here and I have been loving his self titled album. Cool rock with tinges of blues. Kind of reminds me of the Alabama Shakes musically to give a reference.
He just had an interview with Nardwuar: Check them/him out.

Alabama Shakes? I'm gonna have to check him/them out.
...although right now, I can't since the power strip that I connect my PC speakers to blew out.

Yeah definitely on a few of the more stripped down and soulful tracks. And on others it's more bluesy rock 'n' roll. Can't go wrong with him if you dig that style.
