River Man - Nick Drake

This probably sounds corny but this song practically changed my outlook on life. Or at least helped to tremendously.

Honorable mentions:
Things in Life - Dennis Brown
My Proud Mountains - Townes van Zandt
Requiem - Mozart (not a song but whatever)
Simple Twist of Fate - Bob Dylan
Visions of Johanna - Bob Dylan
Ojalá - Silvio Rodríguez

Red Light - The Strokes
Mama I'm Coming Home - Ozzy Osbourne
...

I'll think of more later

Brilliant song, that one Love the dark, autumny feel of it.

I dunno about the most impact, but Dire Straits song Romeo and Juliet had a somewhat recent impact in my life. When I proposed to my fiancè, the ring had an extract from this song's lyrics engraved on the inside. You and me, babe. How about it?

What's the point of making posts like this? This one is only one example out of several posts that just state the name of a song with no explanation of how or why it had an impact on your life.

It's like there's some kind of forum culture where people want to post, but at the same time, they want to write as little as possible. If you have something interesting to tell, then write it. If you don't, then don't.

Kiss-Makin' Love.
The song that made me want to play drums.
Everything is Peter Criss' fault.

I hope this isn't too cliche... I cry every time I hear eruption. I don't know why it is so powerful to me. The amount of work and passion put into it blows me away... Also Thistle and Weeds by Mumford and Sons is the most recent song to change my life.

The song which has impacted me the most I would have to say is off of Ray Charles's country album... His cover of The Ring of Fire.

its not totally rock, but it is rockin!
