I have mixed feelings on this band, for many reasons, I would love to hear an intelligent persons criticism on this band, and how they feel about them, once i hear something halfway intelligent, i'll speak my mind

Depends what you view as intelligent I suppose.
In the metalcore genre I`d say they were one of the better groups but in grand scheme of things a fairly average metal group but with the ability to do some good stuff. "Waking the Fallen" is a good album but "City of Evil" was their creative height and I have to say a very good album. Its an album that is crucial to any best of metal albums list for the 00`s. Haven`t heard their "Nightmare" album but the previous "Avenged Sevenfold" album was a very average bit of work. |
