So what does everyone think of the new album 'Nightmare'? Personally I love it, with 'Nightmare', 'Welcome to the Family' and 'Fiction' being my favorites. Mike Portnoy is brilliant on it and I think the whole album is exactly what The Rev would have loved.

I think Nightmare is their best work yet, the only way it coould have been better, is if Jimmy were on it. Mike did a great job, I didn't think anyone could've pulled it off.

I saw them live, they have terrible guitarists.

Not a fan of Avenged Sevenfold at all. M. Shadow's voice is arguabally one of the worst voices in music today. Their not heavy at all and a lot of their fans claim them to be "heavy metal". And if anything judging a band on their live performance whether they play well or suck show's how credible the band is. In Avenged Sevenfold's case they play ****ty live.

He simply wants to voice an opinion on a band... are we not allowed to do so? If you're going to be buthurt because someone decided to express their distaste for a band in said band's thread then you're just someone who can't take any sort of critical comment. Grow a fucking pair.

Where does it say that this thread is for fans? It simply reads "Avenged Sevenfold." You can post whether you praise them, or think they are ****. It makes for good conversation. What fun is it if everyone agreed with each other?
