Avenged Sevenfold was the gateway to alot of the more technical new age scream pronounced image in bands in this century of music. They are a band that will not be forgotten. LEGEND

All bands do what they do because they "love music". Otherwise they would be garbage truck drivers or fingerpainters or something. The problem isn't that they love what they do, the problem is that what they do is derivative and painfully bad. Sorry to speak ill of the dead band but anybody who comes up with ridiculous stage names UNIRONICALLY is completely full of ****.

I want to punch this douchebag in the face. Don't you?

I really enjoy their music, at first I didn't really like it though.

Go play Madden06 and listen to Bat Country about 100 times on there and tell me that after it annoys the hell out of you, it kinda grows on you, then it ends up being one of your favorite songs.

Or is that just me?

A7X used to be my favorite band a couple years back when City of Evil came out. I still listen to them occasionally, but they don't have the same place in my heart anymore. I hope the new album brings me back, but 2 things make me superstitious: Jimmy's passing, and Mike Portnoy doing work with the band.

Jimmy's death, I feel, will bring in "fans" who say they've been listening to Avenged Sevenfold for years, when they just downloaded some tracks off of a torrent.

Secondly, I don't want A7X songs longer than 10 minutes

You're in the same boat as CAPTAIN CAVEMAN. I wont bother retyping my last post just for you. As for the name thing, nearly all of the hip-hop genre have stage names and Hollywood Undead wears theirs well.

Also something tells me that you punching Zacky would end up with Zacky ripping you a new *******.

I sure am. The irony is palpable here. You just used Hollywood Undead to defend the veracity of Avenged Sevenfold, and you don't even know how hilarious that is.

If the keyboard player from Rammstein punched Zachary Baker in the face, ten bucks says he'd cry into his eyeliner and run to his label rep for vindication of his self-worth.
