im not negative at all. this is MUSICbanter. i talk about MUSIC. if you bash something corporate or some other band, its the same thing. just because more people on this board may like these bands, doesnt mean im not entitled to my opinion. "a7x" is not hardcore. hardcore music is heavy fast music with a real meaning. not watered down generic death metal riffs with poor singing and somewhat decent screaming vocals. and dont even let me get started on their lyrics and their whole nu metal appearance.


the bands i listed... Gorilla biscuits, YOT, the red scare, those are hardcore bands man. thats what the music is about. there is nothing negative about that at all.

well thank god we all have you to tell us "what the music is about". where would we be without your all-knowing musical genious to lead us in the right direction.

I used to think I listened to emo and punk rock, then it turned out that I never knew what either of them were, and the only bands that were either were ones that I couldn't get hold of or hear about in England. Great. Nice to know that the world's largest per capita music purchasing nation isn't privileged enough to hear the "good" music.

a few of my favorite bands are authority zero, NOFX, T.S.O.L.
and as for the emo i ****ing hate people who sing songs about their ex girlfriends and all that emotional ****. its ****in ***!

^^^^^^^^same as title, I personally love the band. They have great guitar work, good lyrics, vocals, drums, everything that a great band needs to be great. :yeah:

their stages names are rediculous. they singer has a cool scream but i hate his singing. guitars are pretty hot from time to time. live performance isn't bad. 6/10
