Default Avenged Sevenfold

I believe this band has gotten a bad wrap, but I think it's mostly because of their last two albums; City of Evil and the self titled album that came out last year.

Their first album, Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, sounds TOTALLY different than their last two albums. Listen to these songs...

YouTube - Turn the other way - Avenged Sevenfold
YouTube - Avenged Sevenfold - Darkness Surrounding
YouTube - Avenged sevenfold the art of subconscious illusion
YouTube - Avenged Sevenfold - Shattered By Broken Dreams with lyrics

Their second album, Waking the Fallen, has a more metalcore sound to it. Check it out...

YouTube - Avenged Sevenfold -- Second Heartbeat
YouTube - Unholy Confessions - Avenged Sevenfold
YouTube - Avenged Sevenfold - Chapter Four
YouTube - Remenissions - Avenged Sevenfold + Lyrics
YouTube - Avenged Sevenfold - Desecrate Through Reverence
YouTube - Avenged Sevenfold - Clairvoyant Disease

I love this band, but their last two albums have pretty much been a disappointment, more so the self titled one from last year.

Thoughts? Any other A7x fans?

I think they take a lot of **** when they're actually pretty damn good. I've heard City of Evil and Waking the Fallen, which are both really good albums. They make some good, standing out stuff. Although now they're a little more Hard Rock.

I liked waking the fallen, but then fell out of them. There names are ***.

I actually really love this band. However, I can't get into ST7T, and I'm very disappointed with self titled album. Waking The Fallen, however, is my favorite album ever - it has the best replay value I've ever heard in an album. City of Evil isn't as good as WtF, but is still very impressive.
