These guys have to be some of the worst I've listened to..Their songs are so stupid IMO. But hey, if you like, you like them.

I saw these guys play a few songs live in 04 in a tiny venue, crowd of 20 or so. It was a small event of sorts with 6-8 different bands. I was there to see Rise Against and maybe one other band. I thought Avenged Sevenfold sucked, they just looked like a bunch of poseurs. In the past year I heard a song of theirs on the radio and thought it sucked even more. Not my bag.

Never cared much for them, in that they seem a bit too commercial and overplayed for my liking. That said, Synyster and Zacky can shred. Unfortunately, their sh*tty lead singer can't sing a note. I almost think they would work better as an instrumental band.

eh, M.I.A. is one of my least favorite of their stuff, i like Burn It Down, Thrashed and Scattered, Sidewinder, and Almost Easy the most

One of the worst live shows I've ever attended. If it wasn't the band messing up every song because they were drunk, it was the underage crowd full of douchebags that lack mosh pit skills. I used to listen to City of Evil but the album got old fast, haven't checked out the newest one. Is it worth it?

It's actually been out for some time now.
I think since late 2007.
So uhm..I'm misinformed by their myspace if they have a new record.
And on the topic of their myspace page.
It's childish.
But w/e.
You like what you like. If they think it sounds good, more power to them.
It's just my opinoin that they're over-rated and mediocre at what they do.
Not to say that I'm any good.
