They actually made music that real musicians could appreciate instead of playing along to some shallow image music scene with catchy metal pop songs for the harder pop follower.

Theres a metal pop genre now? Hmm.

I just dont like the new album, I think it sucks and it sounds as though they didnt even try that hard.

I think the video is very cool I like when their trying to kill the bats with a fly swatter, and Shadows is wearing a shirt that says "why disneyland when theres amsterdam" LOTS OF CHICKS IN THIS VIDEO even though most of them have tails and lizard toungues ha ha Very trippy Video, The song and the Video are based on Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Yep. Hopefully they are just joking around with this album. Because its really crappy compared to the other CD's. Voice hurt and all. Bat Country I love, but I don't take it seriously though. Its just funny to me.

I agree that this album is a step down from their first two but I still like it. It was really hard for me to listen to it at first because I was a huge fan of the first two albums, but this album sounds more like their musical influences and some of the guitar work and stuff is pretty amazing.

Will every1 please stop jive-talking Avenged. City of Evil isn't that bad. There are some good songs on there if you give it a proper listen. It isn't as good as their other albums but it's definately not bad. There is loads of bad music around, aka the scissor sisters.... Why is every1 wastin their time dissin' Avenged for making an album that wasn't as good as their first 2. They're still an awesome band. If you don't like 'em then fine... but why do you insist on telling every1 on a msg-board that you don't like them. Looser.
