I read it, for some reason. And they didnt sell out, even Waking The Fallen was more popular than this new sh*t. Theyve just taken a turn for the worse.

people dont seem to understand that selling out means absolutely nothing. yes, their newest album is completely different from their last, but its because they had to change slightly because of m shadows vocal problems. its because they are progressing as musicians, and by no means did they sell out to the mainstream media. i dont think you will find too many other bands that sound quite like avenged sevenfold. i think you need to reconsider your definition of "sold out"

i suppose you are also one of the people that thinks metallica sold out as well...?

Maybe the person that made this thread didn't know about M. Shadow's vocal problems, which causes this thread to be pointless because they didn't know that it was medical and not selling out. I would want to continue making albums even though you had to change the sound due to medical reasonings. Now is THAT selling out?
