A commercial sound but still a great track:

this Palm Desert album is amazing desert rock, very rare in my opinion.

#6,4,9,2,1 are the top end of this album to me

I'll be damned if Radiant Moon by Watchtower doesn't hit the spot.

I just saw these guys open for Earthless. One of the few occasions when the opening act turned out to be every bit as good as the headliner.

Greek band Tuber does a pretty good job of capturing that "desert" sound, in my opinion. Their album Desert Overcrowded is pretty solid. First track (title track) is what I recommend

I haven't really gone through the genre. I only know a few. The bands I am more interested in are Nebula, Radio Moscow, Wo Fat and Truckfighter.

Nebula - Carpe Diem (Official Video)

Radio Moscow - I Just Don't Know

Wo Fat - "Beggar's Bargain"

Truckfighters - Desert Cruiser

ive seen Elder pushed by a guy on a utube discussion recently. will have to check out the hype.

if you want to really experience truckfighters, Manhattan Project and Gweedo Weedo are the tracks to get into off that album.
