Maybe you could take a gander at Bloody Kisses since you won't be looking at Angel Dust again?

I might, but you would not believe the amount of work I have still to do for this special.... and now I've got myself involved in the Psych album club as well! Why do I do these things???

Default Metal Month II: Day Sixteen

Kicking off with a few more of my original features given the Metal Month treatment, we have the first of 3/4 "Velvet fists", where we look at metal ballads, "More than words" with Thin Lizzy and a review of Blind Guardian in "The International Language of Metal".

Default Metal Month II: Day Seventeen

Sampling Urfaust's "Geist ist teufel" at the recommendation of Ninetales, kicking off my own Top Ten --- of early Maiden tracks --- and back with another Slayer album, this time "Diabolus in musica". Also continuing the final Members' Top Ten list, from Mondo Bungle.

Default Metal Month II: Update

Been very busy so have to throw a few updates together.

Day Eighteen: Run for cover! features an ex-member of Children of Bodom taking on Journey (seriously), the 200 Word Album Review makes a long-overdue return, and I continue counting down my top ten early Maiden tracks.

Day nineteen: Opening with our final look at German metal with The Ruins of Beverast, then it's my top three early Maiden songs followed by another spell in The Batlord's Torture Chamber as he subjects me to the delights of Limp Bizkit!

Day twenty: Kicking off with a "Triple Boxset" from Gehenna, then looking at Conan's "Monnos", another Slayer album and beginning our investigation of the metal to be had in Spain, with the inimitable pioneers of Spanish metal, Baron Rojo.

Day twenty-one: Back to Spain to catch Tierra Santa in full flight, then continuing our look at Viking Metal, before checking out ReinXeed's "1912" and taking our third look into "The Meat Grinder."

Day twenty-two: Almost through the Slayer discography now, just one more to go. Today we review "The Christ illusion", then Viking Metal band Finntroll's "Nattfodd" before heading back to Spain to listen to Teitanblood, and welcoming our very special guest reviewer, The Father of Lies himself, to look at his "Top Ten album covers that would most piss God off". Class!

Day Twenty-three: Continuing our look at Spain, we have David Valdes, Wintersun's self-titled gets the ear and I start a three-part finale of "The Metal that made Me" with a look a three albums by various artists. First up, "Metal for Muthas Vol II"!

Day twenty-four: Another look at "Variations on a Metal Theme", with this time the subject being guns and weapons, our final look at Spanish metal with a doom metal band called Orthodox (who are anything but!), Night Sun's "Mournin'" and the second part of the finale of "The Metal that made Me", with the compilation "Brute force".

Day twenty-five: Accept's new one gets a review, more metal ballads in "Velvet fist" and the trilogy is complete with "Killer Watts".

Day twenty-six: The final Slayer album in their discography, so far, as we reach the end of our first ever Featured Artiste spot. Pantera's "Metal magic" is reviewed. Somewhere there Day 25 adn 26 got crossed over, but **** it, I'm tired. It's been a long month.

Day twenty-seven: We finish up our look at Viking Metal, return to The Batlord's Torture Chamber, take a listen to Arcturus and begin our exploration of Irish metal with a band called Army Rising.

Day twenty-eight: We take our last trip into the Meat Grinder, there's another "More than words" section and we try out another Irish band, called, and I kid you not, ForChristSake!
