And 1981 for me.
|
to be honest every year is great to discover rock n roll.
about being young I would have referred some guys to discover it with and I'm still struggling to find some people interested playing something else than metal...not that I have nothing against metal but I don't listen to it really and I can't play it. To be fair I can just play punk and basic rock n roll and stuff like Beatles. But so couldn't John Lennon either. hopeully now that I'll enter into new school after summer maybe I'll find some people. It's just, it's frustrating to write songs and all without anyone to review them and all. Also people with shared interestsare nice. |
Every year has good music just as much as crap music.I think the thread starter is talking about mainstream charts/radio top40 music.

mobody listens to radio anyway...at least I do not. Some internet radios are more interstimg though.

1981 was perfect year anyway because the Replacements honestly were one of the greatest if not the greatest eighties band.
they had everything Humor, energy, attitude, catchiness and emotional resonance. |
1991
has Spiderland and Nevermind, this alone makes it a great year.
