I really love just about all types of Metal, however I do prefer clear vocals over growling vocals. That doesn't mean I don't listen to bands that use growling vocals though, I just don't like them as much. So my favorite would have to be Power Metal. But then the lines between genres can be so blurred anyway.

Recently black metal has been of most interest to me, so I'd say that. Post-metal like ISIS, *shels, Rosetta, YONL, etc is also up there though...

I don't really see how a movement that consisted of bands from Def Leppard to Venom can be considered the same type of metal.
