I agree, although I listen to pretty much everything metal wise, but I think people know my views on sub genre labels!

Grindcore sounds like metal to me, but I choose not to acknowledge most sub-genres so everything that has metal in its name or sounds like some form of metal is just metal to me.
Sorry. (No I'm not, I really don't care) If I had to vote though, I too think Viking Metal sounds pretty rad. or at least rad/stupid.

its a metal genre as well. If you think about it, its a literal hybrid of punk and death metal in which some bands are more punk while some are more death metal.
If you are telling me that Napalm Death, Pig Destroyer, and Carcass are not metal than there is something really wrong here. |
