I know the Bolt Thrower album well. I will add something by them. Just getting it up and going right now. So this is not even 1% complete.

Death is guaranteed. I just made it like an hour ago and haven't even got started.

Industrial death metal/grindcore.

I'd like to find more death metal bands that are "different".

I've been on kind of a death metal/blackened death metal kick lately and would love some suggestions of newish stuff that's good. Any suggestions?

Dead Congregation is one of my favorite newer DM bands right now - their latest album Promulgation Of The Fall is great, this track off their first full-length is my favorite:

Two of my favourite "new" dm albums :
1. Anhedonist - Netherwards (2012)
This one has many elements of doom metal too. Amazing stuff... Too bad they disbanded last year..

2. Domains - Sinister ceremonies (2014)
Spanish dm in the vein of Morbid Angel..
Also, you can get it for free over at the Domains Bandcamp page

Been really loving Benighted's Identisick album. They're stone cold brutal death metal, but with a lot of simpler grooves and breakdowns that many tech/brutal death metal bands would ignore in their quest to outwank the competition. But the brutality and grindcore madness is just as, if not even more potent since Benighted are more dedicated to immediacy than a group like Hour of Penance or Necrophagist. Kind of feel like an even better and more DM version of Leng Tch'E, or Dying Fetus if their more thuggish moments were a bit Pantera.

Probably the most fun brutal death metal band I've yet discovered and I think I'm gonna go avail myself of the rest of their discography.

Old post, but I've been digging their second album after Mondo introduced me to it. Great atmosphere, totally dense, and anything DM album that mixes in doom gets extra point from me.

Those who like super obscure stuffs might dig PHRENELITH from Denmark.

They released only tape demos yet.

I saw Denmark and had to throw on some UNDERGANG because they're the heaviest mother****ing band and I'm realizing it's been so long since I've even thought about them.

This is like... swamp... god damn... mud from ****ing... hell and caves and ****
