If they don't like Sony, then why the hell have they stuck with them pretty much since 1991?

If they were REALLY anti major-label, they would've gone independent freakin' YEARS ago.

People have gotta get this "aren't interested in the money" idealism out of their heads (as if trying to make money out of a product is somehow wrong)! Of COURSE they're trying to make money. It's their JOB, for heaven's sake! And their ONLY one.

On top of that, you should also come to terms with their whole anti-media and anti-label thing really being part of a larger gimmick. It's to add an air of authenticity to them. It's all clever marketing at the end of the day.

Clearly anyone who joins a major label is a sell out.

So if you even like a band thats on a major label, you're a sellout and you have bad taste in music.

Thats not what hes talking about, though I don't think its Cobains fault he sold out. He didn't ask for it, stupid Kennedy shot him.

I'm sure Kurt loved the artistic control and small fanbase with life, blame Kennedy people cmon!

No, by the standards of nearly everyone here, what I just said is completely accurate.

Anybody who joins a major label is a "sell out" in some sense.

Does that mean their music is bad? Not in the slightest.

Signing to a major label doesn't mean your a sell out I also could mean your getting rewarded for something you've done all your life. Showing other people that all the years touring and writing songs paid off in a sense.
