Obviously not true, considering Pearl Jam has played with Metallica.
Cmon now man I wouldnt rate Pearl Jam higher or equal to Metallica.

p.s. 800 posts biatches....
Yeah I agree they have always been true to theirselves and all that sh*t. Never really sold out, I think they changed their sound on the 'Vitalogy' album purposely to evade selling out after two big albums.
800 posts? Whoa, only 200 more and your in with the big boys.

the ticket master boycott was soo lame it probably gave people like lars a total woody. let's not leave out the vetter quote where he claimed that he had was a genius and would only work with those who were equal to him. this would have been a good spot for a puking smiley
I wouldnt say they were overrated as I have never heard a bad album from them yet (I have them all). Fair enough if you dont like them though.

Nah I like Metallica, first metal band I ever got into. I think this is much the same scenario with people hating on Metallica. Fair enough, they sold out but they still made great music. Anyone who tells me 'Fuel' isnt a cracking song needs a hearing aid.

I never read about this. I read about the ticketmaster thing & I respect them for it. They were sticking up for their fans.

Pearl Jam is miles ahead of Metallica in every aspect of a band. I can't think of one reason to respect Metallica more than PJ in any fashion.

200 more posts baby. I'm counting down.

I dont think so, I mean Pearl Jam are most respectful figures in the music industry but to me its just ludicrous to compare them to Metallica.

Its a long way down, 'baby'.

I agree with this. However I'm probably taking your statement out of context by doing so. Because in my eyes Metallica doesn't deserved to be mentioned in the same breath as Pearl Jam.

Default Thoughts on the new Pearl Jam album?

I think Lightning Bolt is an incredible album, but I've been hearing mixed reviews on it. What are your thoughts on the album?

My favorite songs on the album:

1. Mind Your Manners
2. Sirens
3. Pendulum
