They are ok, can be a little long-winded for my liking sometimes. Still a good band no less.

I still need Still Life, I can't seem to find that album anywhere...

Orchid and My Arms, Your Hearse are my favorites out of all the others.

Technically, the are considered a death/black metal band...slowly moving toward progressive metal. As Steven Wilson puts it: "moments of incredible beauty and moments of incredible brutality"

I think that sums it up.

They are quite different bandwise. I love the song Sillouhette (sp?), it's just a piano playing but it's so dark and eerie like them.

Default Opeth

Any Opeth fans here? Best talk about them than crappy limp bizkit on this forum anyway!

I prefer the mid sort of stuff, but the newer stuff is god too. Still Life and Blackwater Park are great, but prob Deliverance is the one I like most. Well they are all fairly interesting in their own ways...

Havent yet seen them live, sold out in Nov so I couldnt go >: (

Great band. Morningrise is probably my favorite album, mainly due to it have To Bid You Farewell and Black Rose Immortal.

What do you think about Ghost Reveries? I think it has it's moments. Ghost of Perdition is a great song.

I like Atonment cos it has sort of eastern style melodies, also Revirie/ is cool.
Its an ok album, just find it a bit lower in tempo than the older ones. Still has the atmosphere which is good.
