Central Indiana isn't really a bad place to be, albeit a little uneventful. However, Indianapolis is one of the cleaner capitol cities you'll find in the Midwest and maybe anywhere in the country and the suburbs to the north where I reside are actually quite nice.

Yeah, I enjoy Blackwater Park. "Still Life" and "My Arms, Your Hearse" are also great.

Their most recent album, "Watershed" is pretty accessible and it is shorter than "Blackwater Park". That's a pretty good place to start if you just want a taste. My favorite album of theirs is "Ghost Reveries" though. And you can't go wrong with "Blackwater Park".

I would go with "Blackwater Park" before "Watershed" personally for a newcomer to Opeth.
