"Grunge" isn't a wildly accepted term for the those bands who forge the music that later became known as Grunge, and only Seattle area bands were (or should be known as) Grunge. Nickelback were not from Seattle, and so they are/were not Grunge, or even "lifted to a whole new level Grunge", they are a band from Canada, and their music-style was Post-Grunge.
Grunge ≠ Post Grunge.

Well, not every Psychadelic band came from New York..see, Nickelback are in a class of their own..how would I even be a troll? Chad Kroeger gives a great message to young kids.
