Default In Utero 20th Anniversery

Did you guys know that it's the 20th anniversary of Nirvana's album, In Utero? I only just got the album sent to me by a friend, but I've listened to it. I really like it but sometimes the noise can get a bit annoying. What do you guys think?

It's not their best album, but when the competition is Nevermind, don't expect to take gold. This album was actually really well written in my opinion, especially compared to the rest of their catalog.

I was on their mailing list at the time.

I remember they sent me a poster advertising Pennyroyal Tea as the forthcoming single a couple of weeks before Cobain died.
I think I still have it, I wonder if it's worth anything seeing the single was withdrawn.

Their best album imo

one of the few albums that cover art reflects the sound of the album
such a well produced album too.. the guitar sounds great and the drums sound amazing! Albini did his thing..

the sound reminds me a little of the surfer rosa album by the pixies it has like a raw refined sound to it that is very loud and powerful

That would be worth a lot. I went to a record store and they had a poster advertising a show that would've taken place after Cobain died, and the poster had been distributed just before he passed away. I'm pretty sure its worth was nearly up to $1000. I thought that was insane.

I'm not sure it'll get that much.
A few promo copies of the single came out in the UK before it was withdrawn and they go for around £100

Aw really? Fair enough. Maybe our memorabilia is so pricey because Australia is in the middle of nowhere...
