I guess it's as good a time as any to discuss 'Queensryche 2013' a little over a year after it's release (

). The latest album and lineup are solid overall and I'm happy to see where they go from here. But make no mistake: no matter how good this incarnation of the band is, it is NOT now, nor will it EVER be, the "real" Queensryche. I reserve that title for DeGarmo, Jackson, Rockenfield, Tate, and Wilton. That said, guitarist Parker Lundgren and vocalist Todd La Torre definitely deserve to be in Queensryche though, and hopefully more great music will emerge from this incarnation of the band. I look forward to it.
