Iron Maiden is one of my favorite bands and possibly my favorite metal band.

Iron Maiden's the best, Metallica is Metallica thanks to Iron Maiden, alot of metal bands take a piece of Iron Maiden, and so should you. Comparing them to Juda's Preist is just stupid.

FYI; Juda's Preist is the 80's spawned metal band, Iron Maiden much earlier.

Er what?

Judas Priest had 7 albums out before Iron Maiden recorded their first & were the biggest metal band in the UK in the late 70s.

And I think you`ll find Metallica`s biggest influence was Diamond Head not Iron Maiden.

Eh? Wtf, thats news to me.

Metallica wouldn't be who they are without Iron Maiden, think about it. You're bringing in new **** here, Diamond Head had nothing to do with this thread. Go UK lol...

Personally, i think Maiden are far better then JP, There is no other band i can think of that has such a deep history and so many truly hardcore fans, they are THE true metal band
