Three pensioners one with a shot voice and a vegetarian drummer, all trying to live on past glories, one doesn't have to be a wise font of knowledge to see the outcome of that.

....... and also there was no need to get sarcy;)

Not sure what being a vegetarian would change the outcome of how the album sounds, though I also disagree that your shot voice comment is a bit of a stretch as well. I don't think it's fair to judge an album before it's even released.

Zero sarcasm intended I assure you. I thought maybe you had got hold of an advance copy. And given your genuinely encyclopaedic knowledge of hard rock and heavy metal, I was deferring to your opinion.
Seriously.

Nothing wrong with veggies. I just don't like them in my meat pie.

Why not? 90% of these get togethers by old bands looking to make another buck, usually have the same dismal outcome.

My knowledge is not that great from 2000 onwards and you can be as sarcy as you want.

Still, there's always the possibility that it may be different. Plus, it's not like Ozzy hasn't been active the last couple years, he's been doing his solo thing. I do understand your point with getting together as an old band, but it's not like completely out of the blue.

And 90% of fans think the above.

I agree concerning most of the reunion albums by popular bands crapping out at a high percentage of the time. This particular album will more than likely wind up sounding like a throwback to Ozzy's solo career.

Just my 2cents worth, nothing factual.

Vegetarians are sickly and weak so the drumming is probably gonna be sickly and weak as well. They need a proper cocaine addict behind the skins.

I remember you predicting this same thing about Asia, and you were right on the money: "XXX" was a pile of tosh. I had expected something so much better and was very disappointed. You, on the other hand, seemed prepared for what they were about to foist upon us. So on that basis, you could very well be right. I reckon I'll still give it a chance though: it IS Sabbath, after all...
