i forgot to say that it has to be a little bit musical not just screaming and yelling.

My bad. Well, I dont really know much bands in that style that you're saying. But I know a band that is very similar to slipknot. Its called Limp bizkit, and they are very similar to them.

Well, if you want something that is more musical then I don't think you really like brutal music. If you can't listen to this, then I think it's time to stop using that word:

How should I know? But if your definition of "brutal" is Slipknot but not Suffocation, then your definition is obviously different from mine, or most people's for that matter.

Maybe he simply meant something heavy and aggressive while still being listenable and while still being music and not just loud noise.

I'm not usually a fan of aggressive music but I like songs such as
Deftones - Headup | LYRICS - YouTube . It isn't the heaviest song in the world, but it combines heaviness and aggressiveness while still sounding good, at least IMO.

Only thing I find heavy about Suffocation is their bass, otherwise their riff is boring and generic and I find growling hilarious instead of brutal so they don't quite do it with me.

when i say brutal i mean noisy and screamo bands who have a vocalist with a dark voice.

Sounds pretty clear to me. He wants the most brutal band in the world. If his definition of brutal is Slipknot, then it's not my fault he doesn't know what he's talking about.
