Rhapsody Of Fire / Symphonic Power Metal
Hey everyone. So theres a really nice band called Rhapsody of Fire. This band was led by a musician named Luca Turilli until he left in 2011. He has also formed other bands and projects. He has recently formed Luca Turilli's Rhapsody after leaving Rhapsody of Fire.
Anyway, I think thats the best band in this genre. For those of you who have no idea what this genre sounds like, here's a good song. Luca Turilli - 06 - The Ancient Forest of Elves - YouTube Dont forget to check this song out, even if you dont think you like the genre. You might change your mind after yuo hear it. |
I think they have some cool songs and are fun to listen to, but they are also horribly, awfully, terribly cheesy. It's as cool as being a single man past your 40s, living in your boys room in your mothers basement and still collecting everything from Dungeons & Dragons that exists under the sun.
Now, I like D&D too, but when I meet new people, the first thing I say to them is not "Hi, I'm Tore. I love Dungeons & Dragons". In fact, I keep those cards pretty close to my chest until maybe I hear someone else fess up first. Maybe then I can let people in on my embarassing secret. With Rhapsody, it's almost exactly the same way. |

I've been getting into this band recently
but there are a hundred thousand bands that do the same thing, some better, some not. I personally love Kamelot too, though many/most here will spit on my grave for it! :D One of their better tracks |

Thanks in general for replying guys, I got a few bad comments from people mocking me because I listen to Rhapsody. |
Favourite Manowar song (don't worry about the shriek at the start, it's just a warcry!) :)

The batlord: I liked Gloves of Metal, is that how most of Manowar's discography sound like? |
