just go off suggestions on youtube or something. or be like me, and find new bands out just by going to a **** ton of concerts, and having good unknown, starting bands no one's ever heard of be one of the openings. that's the best way, because you've already seen them liveeee helll yea

I mostly discovered bands from Wikipedia. Its pretty easy since there are many lists of bands on there. But these days I dont really need to discover any new bands, since I already discovered so many already. And whenever I discover a band I realize they arent as good as the ones I already discovered. lol.

The way I discover new bands is exactly that way; by taking other people suggestions. They also discover me...I also think something important to do is become familiar with the live music scene wherever you live - facilitate frequent discussions with people who you come across... I say this because though technology and internet is an amazing way to learn about new bands, it doesn't replace the human aspect of discovery and discussion.
