I bet nobody can find me the perfect band

Hello. I am new to this forum. I have come here to offer a challenge to the people of this forum. That challenge is simply this: "Nobody can find me the perfect band/music for me."

I believe I've hit the metaphorical wall as to the music I can possibly listen to, which is why I'm seeking out help to discover new bands.

Allow me to list the criteria for what I consider my "perfect" music:

1. Even though I'll probably receive some flak over this, my favorite band is Linkin Park, back when they were more metal and less rock.

1a. To further illustrate this, my all-time favorite song is "Don't Stay" by Linkin Park. It is simply the perfect song IMO.

2. I like songs with a metalic groove, or "bounce". The guitar and instrumentals must support this. Rapping is okay.

3. I am not a fan of screamo, so this rules out essentially all metalcore/deathcore/hardcore bands.

4. Electronic influence is acceptable.

You may be able to suggest something that may seem easy, but I am very picky and have sought out many bands and have simply not been able to re-discover a "favorite song" or band. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Holy mother of god. I've never seen anything like that in my life. That's like saying the following...

I've pretty much tasted all the food that is to be tasted. My favorite food and mac and cheese.
I've pretty much watched all that film has to offer. My favorite film is Titanic.
I've pretty much read every book that's worth knowing. My favorite book is I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell by Tucker Max.

My god. Please for the love of god go to the general boards and just go through the thread "What I've been listening too" and fill yourself with knowledge.

I don't even care that you like Linkin Park. That statement of hearing all that is to be heard is just offensive.

You're right, it's not going to be possible.

But that fact is on you, not us.

Eh? How can we recommend you new artists if there is no possibility listening to anymore?

It's because most people I know consider Linkin Park to be the new Nickelback, and not many people now find it "cool" to listen to Linkin Park these days.

Clearly I was using a hyperbole. I meant that I have searched quite a bit to no avail, and was wondering if I could elicit suggestions from other people on this forum...
