Butter 08
 

When you combine members from Cibo Matto, Skeleton Key, and The John Spencer Blues Explosion, you get the funkiness that is Butter 08. Apparently formed during a "drunken evening" while producing a Cibo Matto single, they joined Mike D's label and released their self-titled in '96. Unfortunately it's the thing they've put out to my knowledge, but boy is it fun.

I could have sworn they had two albums. No?

None that I can find, unless the demo they sent to their label before they signed on leaked somewhere.

I just looked it up and I think I was confusing them with the Beta Band. For some reason I always mix those two up, probably because I was introduced to both by the same person.

I like this band.
I can only recall ever seeing one album though.
