I, too, am not much interested in the post-En Esch/Gunter Schulz era.

Once upon a time I was quite fond of Nihil & the similar guitar driven tracks; however, now I find the sound of these albums to be.... rather annoying - too repetitive & overproduced. Their work which trends towards purer Industrial (What Do You Know Deutschland?) strikes me.... as boring.

Excessive Force is ok for what it is, Slick Idiot is probably my favorite spin off group from them though.

Good god no. They were the lame pop knockoff of KMFDM.

Well it is kind of a grower. I actually used to hate it back when I first got that album in my teens but it's come to be one of my two favorite tracks on the album, along with the well known "Drug Against War":

Ok just checking haha! I just didn't know where people drew the line. I always found Ramstein's music hilarious.

Yeah that song is good, I love the speed! But maybe the other one will grow on me.

In your opinion what is their best album?

Probably Nihil, though I like Xtort, the symbols album and UAIOE a lot as well.

When I was younger I loved them, but now I just find them to be dull and derivative of KMFDM and Laibach. They still have a few songs that are enjoyable though.

this is pretty much my view of them also.....although like i said some of the key tracks from Money still sound pretty good.....but for the most part i feel there were much better bands coming out on Wax Trax at the time

in short

KMFDM SUCKS!

"and a message from Satan if you turn it around"

still some clever lyrics there

hey Vanilla have you looked into any of the other Wax Trax bands?
