Led Zepplin IV. Has all the great classics like Black Dog, Misty Mountain Top, Stairway to Heaven, Rock and Roll, Four Sticks and When The Levee Breaks (which is my favourite of theirs).

I'm gonna go with Houses of the Holy. Dancing Days, The Ocean, The Crunge, Over the Hills and Far Away, No Quarter, hell I even like D'yer Mak'er. There is no weak point on this album even if the title track didn't appear until the next album hahaha

Led Zep ll because it's a boatload of energy and is they're hardest rocking album. They started to mature and get more diverse on lll, which leads to my second choice, lV which is the best combination of the old and new.

Tough to choose a favorite from the first 7 on the list. I've probably spent more time listening to Led Zeppelin II, Houses of the Holy, Physical Graffiti and Presence than the others, though.
I'm going to guess that of those 4 albums, Led Zeppelin II is the one I've played most often. So Led Zeppelin II gets my vote. |
