No I don't think it's one of their best, hence my comment.

My pick was Houses Of The Holy--even though I love all of their albums up to and
including Presence--the later ones less so. I enjoyed the diversity of their music
as they matured, especially as evidenced on HOTH.

It wasn't one of the choices, but the "The Song Remains The Same" live soundtrack
is also high on my list!

This is why I mentioned HOTH as it's it joint lead position.

That was kind of one of them -wink wink- type things that really wasn't saying anything that serious, sarcasm-like. Think I shoulda put in a little smily, I think.

The 4 cd box

with remasters most important tracks from all their discography .....:finger::usehead::bowdown:;)

This is such a hard question.....they all have their moments for sure. Looking forward to checking out their new DVD next month!

Houses of the Holy easily

short, sharp, sweet

and their most eclectic

Picked 4, but any of their first six could claim to be their best.

4 is the most enjoyable to listen to though. 1 got me into the Zep and 2 is basically another version of 1 but not as rough around the edges. Not heard much of 3, Houses of the Holy sounded great the couple of times I heard it though. Physical Graffiti is a lot to absorb.

I'd probably go with III. I just like how it works together.
