I love Third Eye Blind!
My friend Sam turned me on to them a year or two ago.

Slow Motion is one of my faves as well. While I've never been too impressed with them on the whole, I've been to see them in concert a couple times and they always put on an awesome show. They do a great job interacting with the audience.

I haven't seen them live at all, but I am imagining it would be quite a fun show!

I liked the album that had Semi - Charmed Life on it - I always thought it was pretty solid, especially as it reached its end. There's a song that always makes me think of a failed attempt at a relationship, I can't recall the title, but ya know I should bust that album out and give it a listen tonight... hmmmm, might do that...

Anyways, I think the song had a line in it that went "and I've never been so alone, and I've never felt so alive"

I think that song really described the way I was feeling at the time. I love it when you find a song that does that!

They should have a new album called Ursa Major sometime next year.

Might be worth checking out, on the strength of the song I heard from it the other night. They're not in my serious core of bands i could never live without, but they make some good pop/rock, in my opinion...

I like the band, for some reason I really enjoy the song Jumper. And who can forget the upbeat semi-charmed life? Yeah there pretty good.

i don't listen to them now, but they're so great. i was into them in high school, so when i hear their stuff it just brings back memories. all those songs listed are great. i don't know if its rock though? either way just amazing songwriters.

Oh its just basically good alt - flavored rock, with some punchy lyrics - the catchiness of the band and the generally good lyrics from Stephan Jenkins make up the core of what's good about the band... and they are a considerably good band, it must be said!

One of my favorite bands. It's a shame there third CD didn't get the exposure it deserved. (Their record label was dealing went bankrup) It was a real return to form for them.

Nice thread bump. They were basically the soundtrack for generation X, and every teen movie made in the 1990's-2000's.

Jumper and Semi-Charmed Life are always good to listen to, regardless of the situation.
