That's not an opinion, that's a generalization. Which it most certainly is not true. Also, to add to that, which part of metal are you referring to, because there's a lot...

Alternative Metal
Avant Garde Metal
Black Metal
Symphonic Black Metal
Viking Metal
Christian Metal
Death Metal
Melodic Death Metal
Doom Metal
Extreme Metal
Folk Metal
Grunge
Industrial

I'd love to see how something like this...

...could be considered childish.

The fact that you come into a thread well knowing what the topic is about is much more childish than generalizing childish behavior with metal.

It would be highly appreciated if someone could recommend some good finish metal bands. It doesn't matter what metal genre it is.

Maybe we could also talk a little bit about Finish metal.
Where's the Finn when you need one! Oh, wait, here I am! Here! Me! Right here! Look!

Damn! Have I ever felt more useless than I feel right now! Oh well, luckily these guys before me gave you some good advice. Anyway, if anyone ever wants to know some Finnish stuff other than metal related, feel free to ask. Because I know you metal guys really want to know more about Finnish pop music, don't ya? Huh? Huh?! Just kidding! OK, but seriously, some classic Finnish rock, I can talk about that.

I may not know a lot about metal bands from Finland, but I do know that they get shit done, that's for sure.

Considering Finlands population, I think they are doing pretty ****ing good for themselves.. Granted, I listen to WAY more bands from Sweden, Italy, Germany and Canada, Finland is indeed up there though, a lot of their bands are very memorable and tour here a lot, I have seen 8 of the bands live on this list and they were some of the best musicians I have seen.. I am sure there are a lot more bands as well but I grabbed all the more known ones, Finland has A LOT of metal bands for a country with a 5-6 million population, that's as much as the state I live in and we don't have nearly that many local bands, none that are known anyways, I am familiar with maybe like 5 or 6 local bands here that aren't popular at all, let alone touring very much, that should say something about the U.S..

Well, bear in mind that Scandinavian countries (especially Norway/Sweden) have more metal bands per capita than anywhere else in the world

Check these guys out, they play spaced-out-blackened-avant-psychedelic-dark-krautrock

I remember getting that album sometime in 2009 or 2010 but I completely forgot about it, thanks for reminding me!
