The concept of stealing in this context is pretty stupid, anyway, unless it's some actual bona fied daylight robbery!

Also, there's a difference between plain mimicry and having INFLUENCES.

It's not actually stealing, it's getting inspired to do your own peice of work when you are influenced by something great. I'd say it's more of an honour, unless you're one of those artists who are famous for constantly remaking other ppls music. That is a pirate.
