My sister just described Toe as "awful... like dubstep without the bass" (she's 16 and listens to Foster the People, give her a break)

It's a good thing I didn't play Lightning Bolt for her

Yeah, they're a sadly forgotten band. I barely even remember them, and I used to listen to them constantly.

I never lopped them into mathrock before. I'm much more familiar with their latter works, but even then... I dunno. Great band though.

Zu. Now that'll fit. Carboniferous is a fantastic album...

You Slut! - Critical Meat. Excellent album. Looking at this yesterday for GBs grandiose titles thread.

Oh cool they have a new album, this year. Medium Bastard.

Might have a few names that aren't on that RYM when I open up my music library.

Charts and Maps - Dead Horse (2011) Amazing album, more on the jazzy side. One of my favorite discoveries last year.

Ghosts and Vodka are awesome.

By The End of Tonight... more like math metal :P
