Old Bands (old music, favorite songs, cd, cover, classic)

Which would you prefer, being on the breaking point of a new band emerging or discovering an old artist you love?

I for one choose old bands because im beyond imaptient and would like the option to buy old CD's when I want. New bands are great, but I always play the CD till I hate them.

id have to say old artists.... the older the better!!!!

I like discovering older artist but not too old. anything in the last 10 years is cool. the only thing i don't like is bands tend to play their newer songs live so you might not hear your favorite old song...

Are you serious? How do you think the new bands exist, if they were not listening the old ones? If you want to understand future, you must understand past. All in all, you can't say that they are dead!

i always do that too and i hate myself for it... but i do it with old music too

i loooove discovering new music, but i too tend to over play it, then it starts to sicken me...but , i let it rest for about 2 3 months and then i listen to it again and it's good again...if something is fantastic after a while it turns into a classic so you can listen to it anytime, be it old or new..
