Why do people hate Creed so much?
 

It's not that I'm religious, or that I listen to them all the time, but I'm really curious to figure out why people hate Creed so much. Why is that?
There not noticably bad, the have good talent, there songs can be decent, so why is it that when I play them on the radio someone always starts to hate?

I would answer the thread, but why would being religious have anything to do with it?

When I was 10 or so, Creed came out and their song "Higher" played in the trailer for some cartoon movie Titan AE and I liked it... hell, it was only 30 seconds. And then I got older. The end.

Scott Stapp is a tool.

They're considered a christian rock band.

Nobody hates them, it's 2012 not 2004.

They were consigned to the dustbin of history long long ago.

I actively hate them. In fact I attack their music in YouTube comment sections.

I dislike them because they are noticeably bad and I find their songs horribly bland.

Turn on the radio and you'll quickly find out that, unfortunately, Creed and all it's post grunge brethren are still very much alive. Better yet, don't turn it on, just take my word for it.
