From what I've gathered, even the Christian rock diehards who did love them turned on them because of Scott Stapp.

I always see Creed as one of those popular mainstream American bands that nobody gives the slightest toss about this side of the pond, along with bands like Theory Of A Deadman and 3 Doors Down. It's like their music sinks somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic, perhaps deservingly so. I don't hate them with a passion, I just couldn't give the slightest fuck about them.

Why do people hate nickleback? Because their songs are bland, as someone already stated, and theyre just flat out ****ty. Same applied for creed. Their songs are just really cheesy.

Same here. I don't think I have ever heard a track by them TBH.
