hello all, im currently having to do a marketing plan for a rock/pop rock band but im having trouble researching the information i need about this genre!

the kind of information i need to find out are things like market analysis for this genre (whats going on), demographics - psychographic profiling for bands within this genre.

it would be extremely helpful to find any current (or at least relevant) actual marketing plans/templates.

also if you just know good websites that will help me out it would be very much appreciated!

When is your homework due? Don't your textbooks have marketing / business plan templates? Are you making a marketing plan to try to establish a new band or to try promoting an existing one? What's the scope of this marketing plan? Local success, national, world-wide?

You're never going to find a specific rock band marketing template anywhere, just build off something else that works for a creative enterprise (like graphic design or something).

I also don't understand why you'd want psychographic profiling of the bands within the genre as opposed to fans of the style. Don't you want to market the band to potential listeners?
