Creating Rock/Metal festival
 

Im looking to start a major rock/metal festival and I am looking for anyone that can guide me in the right direction regarding information on creating such an event.

Just for fun I was gonna start my own ficticous summer festival called "Rock Stereo Fest" where I would have the speakers set up in the back yard and play rock/alternative/some electro and techno music all day and pretend that the bands were actually playing :p So far only me and my boyfriend are attending. I even made a poster to promote it :p

Sorry I know that probably doesn't answer any of your questions but you could probably design your own promotional material??

Sounds like a pretty big plan to be honest, maybe try get your name out there on social networking sites like twitter and facebook, try and find some promoters and organizers and try and get some advice from them, i'm sure they'd try and help as much as they can..
