Best: Either Phish, Monster Magnet, or System of a Down
Worst: Nickelback; I booed them, and got thrown into a mosh pit, yet held my own because I knew I was right. Granted, at the time I was mainly pissed that Chad Kroeger was drinking alcohol blatantly, in spite of ordinances...but I feel I made the right choice in booing the **** out of them. I was like, 14 or something.

Best:
Nirvana: 'scentless apprentice' was totally loud live! Van Halen: Good before Eddie got too alcoholic, plus Eruption rules live! Danzig: Dude is just like in the live 'mother' music video! Dinosaur Jr.: Believe me, J Mascis can play a guitar live! Worst: Stabbing Westward: Saw them opening for KISS, just really boring and uninspired, not surprised they broke up since they basically suck. Lacuna Coil: Cristina Scabbia is alright as a vocalist, but the rest of the band just kind of lets you down. Like they need a little more *omph* as I would put it. Onto the comments: Quote:
Prince is awesome live! Not really my kind of music but a friend of mine dragged me to one of his shows a few years ago and he did an awesome 3 hour set! One of the highlights was when he did a solo keyboard medley!... that started out with 'delirious'! (Song best known for being in one of the 'cheech and chong' flicks) ( Delirious (Prince song) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ) Yeah Shannon Hoon was probably high or stoned or whatever when you saw them. Shame as they could have been good. I always liked their tune 'galaxie' Whoa! Ahmet Zappa makes music too? I just know him from being an actor in my favorite movie 'Pump Up the Volume' |

Best - Pearl Jam by far
Worst - Placebo and Skindred... saw them both at Sonisphere 2010 I don't like Benji's voice live at all and I son't know whether I think he is putting that Jamaican accent on or not. Placebo absolutely RUINED All Apologies |

Wow, you saw Nirvana, slatesphanboi? That's awesome.
Best: Buffalo Springfield, Tool, The Dead Weather, Buckethead, Bob Dylan, Ray Manzerak and Robby Krieger, Gregg Allman. (I'm sure I'm forgetting some that are worthy of mentioning). Worst: 311, Incubus, Modest Mouse, Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, Eminem (Didn't stay for whole show, though. Didn't see anything worth staying for). |

Yeah it was sweet!
The opening acts were the Melvins and the Breeders. Like I would be happy to just see either of those bands all by themselves... and then to see Nirvana after that... YES! Some one taped it back then (and it sounds really good, just like how it sounded) and has been kind enough to upload one of the better songs of it to youtube! |
