Haha probably not. I think he tends to wear the same thing. I've seen him twice in the last 5 months and he wore the same clothing both times.

Why should anything trump technical ability when you´re talking about the greatest guitarist of all time? Technique and skill is what i´m interested in when i´m referring to someone as the greatest, influence and popularity is irrelevant. Innovation however is very important and i agree with you that Hendrix did bring a lot of new ideas to the table, however BH took those ideas to a whole other level. Hendrix´s technique was flawed, BH´s is immaculate and you almost never see him make any mistakes. I would say BH is one of the most prolific guitar player ever having released 30+ albums over the last 20 years, on those albums he does a lot more than just shredding. His latest album is acoustic driven for example and its a masterpiece.

I instantly fell in love with this whole album but this song in particular struck me.

Bermuda Triangle (2002). From 19 tracks, I can only listen to three. But those three are not only superb but very different from his usual. For reference, those are "Bionic Fog", "Splintered Triplet", and "Whatevas".

I agree bucketheadland 1 & 2 are odd and i hardly ever listen to anything from these albums, island of lost minds is another weird one, but I can find lots to listen too from every other album, and alot of his albums are in my playlist in their entirety, I can't say that about many other artists album, rare to find an album nowadays where every song is amazing
examples of these types of albums are: captain eo's voyage, elephant mans alarm clock, peppers ghost, shadows between the sky, population override (god I love too many humans, probably my favourite BH tune), electric tears and sea, its alive

This guy is like a robot with emotions. Some of his stuff has emotion and his others robotic. But he does it well, and doesn't over-wank. Looking past that though he's damn fascinating and has artistic quality.

I can tell I wrote that first sentence originally, despite changing a few things. Other than that, thanks for reiterating how cool those tracks Bionic Fog, Whatevas, and Splintered Triplet are.

Can't tell if you sniped all my words for your second paragraph or if some are your original words, but it's so my style to say "Too Many Humans is my favorite BH tune"
