Impetigo - ultimo mondo cannibale
Impetigo - horror of the zombies
Purple Light - lilac blacklight
Purple Light - purity through purple Light

Impetigo are early 90s death grind. They were on the great ripoff label wild rags, which more or less doomed them to under appreciated status - much like label mates blasphemy, nuclear death, etc. Anyways, "...zombies" is generally regarded as their best work. However, it's not Norwegian and lacks flute solos and a bongo rhythm section so who cares.

More tapes;

Sodom - shrill cries, angel dies boxset which contains persecution mania, obsessed by cruelty, in the sign of evil, agent orange, and better off dead. So excited!!!

Exodus- bonded by blood

Master - master

Mgla - exercises in futility

Nuke - nuke

Bestial warlust - vengeance war till death

Massacra - final holocaust

Massacra - signs of the decline

Massacra - enjoy the violence

Marduk - glorification

Marduk - germania

Shining - v - halmstad

Anyways, massacra are second wave French death metal with wonderful riffs. Bestial Warlust were a wonderful 90s Australian war metal band with members in cult squads vomitor and destroyer 666 - atmospheric and crushing all at once. Nuke were on some best of 2016 list which described them as the new speedwolf which is high praise. Master are great **** you if you don't know them. Mgla and shining are both highly regarded black metal which is usually **** but hey I'm a gambler. Shining seem to be more popular in Europe for whatever reason.

Massacra are a top 10 death metal band easy. So good!

Well we'll see. I've come to the conclusion most black metal albums which are well received on non-genre specific sites tend to be aesthetically middling and are terribly predictable in their "non metal" moments.

I'd say their best moment is actually a rehearsal from the bonus tracks on Enjoy the Violence. I could listen to this on repeat all day.
