Tool's current Tour
 

Just bought tickets to Tool's upcoming show in Hampton, VA in February. What's the current show like (lights, effects, etc.)? And, what's the set-list like, are they playing stuff from the forthcoming album?

Wish I knew. Last time I saw them was during their Lateralus tour. Definitely let us know what goes down, will ya?

I saw them this time last year when they came to Australia. It was amazing, but nothing that new - awesome lighting, lasers as usual. They played an interesting choice of songs from a range of albums which was refreshing, unfortunately they didn't play anything new... they did play a few little 'snippets' of instrumental music that I hadn't heard before but no full songs or anything.

Either way, you'll have a blast.

Yeah, when they came to Aus I spent 10 minutes clicking refresh on the ticket page until it became available and had all my payment details ready to CTRL-V lol... thankfully I got tickets!

Tickets went on sale at 10am. I had my tickets by10:06, and I'm half the way up to the back of the coliseum, and Hampton is a pretty big place.

I happen to have some extra tix if you're interested.

I will be attending the Reno show and I'll come back with a full report if anyone wants it.
