Did You Like Or Hate The Lou Reed & Metallica Album Lulu

I didn't really care for the album. I think it would have been much better if billed as a Lou Reed album. The Lou Reed element here isn't bad. Metallica fans probably will never get into this. I gave this album four listens and it probably will never make it into my rotation of music. I'm a fan of Lou Reed and Metallica but couldn't get into this. I don't know how other fans feel. I guess let me know

I like it a lot... I think it is funny that Lou Reed and Metallica would troll the whole Universe.

Allow Jackhammer to give you his opinion:

Has Lou Reed been involved in not one but TWO of the worse albums ever released (Metal Machine Music and Lulu)?

It's pretty awful. The whole thing just doesn't mix well to be honest. Doesn't help that both the collaborators are way past their prime

I like it in the same way I like Rebecca Black: it's so tremendously bad that it's entertaining.

It's probably the worst album by a 'serious band' I've ever heard.
It's awful. I still think it's a joke.

I tried to give the album a full listen but I just couldn't, it's so offensive I felt like my ear drums were going to say "fuck this" and forcibly exit my body. I don't know what I dislike more though, the album or the way both Lou Reed and Metallica have responded to the criticism.

Course it's a joke. How could it not be?

Metallica are delusional sad c**** anyway, so I expect them to be bitches about it. But I truly think this was basically a piss around by two artists that basically don't give a **** :D

I sure like to think so...

I've said this before...Metallica are desperately clinging to any threads of hope they may have to still be relevant, and Lou Reed is so old that he probably thinks Metallica are still cool to the hipsters of the world.

Seriously, I couldn't make it through 2 minutes of "The View". I never thought I'd listen to an album that makes me want to listen to St. Anger.
