Sorry, I'm not being very clear: of course the vocals are what makes "the View" sooo horrible, but I'm assuming everyone immediately turns the radio off after hearing Lars' awful drum intro and the first few chords:

I'm not gonna lie, I don't mind that song. It's catchy in a weird way.

This song sounded awesome for a second to me, began with a really shockingly awesome scream.

Then I realized a Boredoms song started in mumu.

Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.

This.

I was genuinely looking forward to the album when I heard about it. Some people need to know when to hang up the instruments and call it a day.

I don't know why anyone would try to make some kind of big deal out of a simple jam session (only), and nothing more than that.
I saw this episode of That Metal Show, and I remember thinking at the time that Lars seemed a bit uncomfortable talking about it then. They all did. I suspect he realized what a bomb they'd made.

I listened to one song all the way through. They sounded like a band of wannabe kids jamming out for the very first time in their parents garage. Uncoordinated and cacophonous. It was painful.

Lou Reed sucks so much Asian hookers look up to him. Seriously though, what the hell where they thinking!? As if Metallica wasn't losing fans already. I dunno about you but I ain't really supported the group since St Anger (they were already pushing it then).
